road to nowhere

 

I always thought if I ran away from people, it meant I was running away from my problems.
I realized now, I was only trying to run away from myself.
But how can you run away from yourself?

    Your post reminded me of something I heard on the radio recently... A monk decided he was going to leave his monastery and go out into the world. As he was walking out of the monastery, another monk said to him, "If it's on my account that you're leaving, wherever you go, I go there ahead of you".

    I thought it painted a more vivid picture than, "Wherever you go, there you are" :)
